Adult Forums
Perhaps you want to explore spiritual topics, issues of concern, or ideas of general interest in an atmosphere of common respect. Then consider our Adult Forums, offered periodically on Sundays at 9:00 a.m.  The forums are led by clergy or experienced lay people. The Forums vary from book discussions, to videos, to prayer, to opinions on church policy, and to Biblical interpretation. New ideas are always welcome.

Bible Studies
Bible study offers two gifts to us. The first is the opportunity to dig deeper into the Scriptures and listen for God's insight, humor, and curiosity that moves us deeper into the Scriptures and deeper into our relationship with God. The second gift happens at the Monday and Wednesday morning Bible Studies, both of which provide a rich mixture of fellowship and learning.  The Monday morning Bible Study begins at 10:00 am in the library and generally focuses on one book of the Bible at a time, while the Wednesday morning Bible Study is clergy led and focuses on the readings for the upcoming week.  The Wednesday morning Bible study begins at 9:00 am.

Inquirer's Class
Several times a year, we facilitate a inquirer's class for those persons who have not yet been sacramentally confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church or who simply want to refresh their understanding of the practice of the Christian Faith within the tradition of the Episcopal Church.  These classes last between 6 - 8 weeks, are led by a priest, and are a great way for those new to the Episcopal Church or to St. Luke's in particular to connect with others in the same position and get their questions answered.  One need not be new to the Episcopal Church or to St. Luke's however to attend these classes.  Anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of the practices of the Episcopal Church are invited to join.  Please see current events for information on upcoming inquirer's classes or contact us with specific questions.

Baptism & Confirmation Classes
The priests share in preparing parents and children for Baptism, and in holding confirmation courses for both adults (also known as Inquirer's Class) and teens to prepare individuals for confirmation. As Christians, baptism is the center of our identity. Through confirmation, we re-articulate those vows and invite individuals to take up the commitment their parents may have made for them many years earlier. With God's help, may we all live out our vows in faith, hope, and love.  Please see our current events for information about our current confirmation classes or contact us with any specific questions.

Small Groups
Over time, many small groups have developed at St. Luke's among parishioners with common interests, or among those simply looking to connect with others and develop a support system among others who live near them.  Many find that the long term relationships that develop among small group members are among their most treasured. Some groups meet monthly or every other week, while others meet every week.  Please contact us to find out what small groups are meeting in your area or that are based on your interests, or if you are interested in leading or hosting a small group.  Every effort will be made to connect new parishioners with an existing small group if they desire, or, when interest demands, to facilitate creation of new small group.  Currently small groups exist in Chino Valley, Prescott and Prescott Valley, and there are groups that meet based on interest as diverse as photography, the environment, golfing, hiking, and fishing.  Whatever your hobbies or interests, chances are there is someone else out there that also shares your interest and would love to meet you!

Parish Library
The Parish library, housed in the office wing of St. Luke's, offers reading materials ranging from church history and theology to books on meditation and prayer and even a small collection of Christian fiction. Books are catalogued according to the Dewey Decimal System just as in public and school libraries which allows books of similar topics to be grouped together. Thus, if one is browsing for devotional books for example, they will be found in the 240's, while Bible and Bible study guides will be located in the 220's.  If you are interested in checking out a book from the library and are unfamiliar with the procedures for doing so, simply check in at the front office during our regular office hours and we will be happy to give you a tour.
